Join local artist Nancy Van Winkle at the Greensboro Free Library. Participants will create their own handmade journals to take home in this workshop.  

Everyone will choose from an array of decorative cover papers, and bind their own books using a Japanese stab-binding technique.  The books will consist of high-quality, acid-free, mixed-media paper, and participants will learn different art techniques to use in their journals.  A wide variety of materials and tools will be provided, including inks, oil pastels, paints, stencils, stamps, and texture plates.
