What is a “crankie”? Think hand-made, people-powered paper movie! As you turn the wooden crank, the pictures scroll through the viewing box. In this hands-on workshop, we will create a group crankie from story creation through illustrating a fifteen-foot paper scroll. We’ll do an informal performance (for whoever is around) in the brand new Story House behind the Albany Genny.
