Read MoreJoin us this Sunday April 22 at 4 pm at the Albany Town Hall to hear local poets read their work, and have a slice of pie. Poets include Phil Beaudry, Mark Creaven, Heather Stearns, Jerry Johnson, Megan Jolly and more, and there will be a variety of delicious pies to choose from. In celebration of national poetry month and local talent (poetry writing and pie making). Free. Hope to see you there!
There are two new books at the library for you to check out: Points North by Howard Frank Mosher, and World Class: The Making of the U.S. Women's Cross Country Ski Team by Peggy Shinn.
Read MoreThe Imagination library is something we will be starting in a few weeks, a national program where kids 0-5 sign up and receive a new book in the mail each month. We are launching it with funds from the Promise Community grant, with plans to fundraise for it in the future.
